Sightseeing
We have some amazing hikes and breathtaking views right on our doorstep. Some of our favourites are below :)
Killcare Beach is a picturesque 1.6-kilometre stretch of sand.
The beach is backed by the natural bushland of Bouddi National Park.
There's a Surf Life Saving Club and lifeguards patrol the beach from the September school holidays through to April.
You can swim between the flags and there's good surfing.
There's also a rock pool for small children at the end of the beach.

Bouddi Coastal Walk is the most popular and scenic bushwalk on the Central Coast and it starts right at Putty Beach!
It’s an 8-kilometre trail between Putty Beach and Macmasters Beach.
Don’t want to walk the whole 8 kilometres?
Then stroll to Gerrin Point Lookout and back along the boardwalk. It’s a bit over 2 kilometres return. The views from the lookout are fantastic.

Maitland Bay is a gorgeous beach hidden in Bouddi National Park.
You can only access it via a bushwalk – there’s no road access
A few trails lead to Maitland Bay. They’re all great!
The Maitland Bay track is short and quick but steep. The track is well-maintained and has plenty of stone steps.
You can also get to Maitland Bay on the Coastal Walk (see above) or the Mount Bouddi walking track.

Bullimah Spur Walking Track
Bullimah Spur Walking TrackClear your mind and refresh your senses with the stunning vistas on offer at the Allen Strom lookout, located on the ridge above Rocky Point.
Standing at this fenced lookout, it’s a pleasure to watch the boats bobbing up and down in Hardys Bay. The views extend across to Wagstaffe and Ettalong and you can even see as far as Brisbane Water National Park.
It’s easy to reach the lookout by foot or bike – simply combine Rocky Point trail to your Bouddi Ridge explorer experience. This trail commences near the intersection of Wards Hill Road and Maitland Bay Road, and you’ll tread a carpet of flannel flowers if you plan a springtime visit.
Allen Strom lookout was named in memory of the man who dedicated much of his life to the establishment of many national parks and nature reserves in the state.
