Before 9am and after 5pm, Dewey beach is dog friendly. Lots of off leash dogs have so much fun here. Quick 15 minutes drive in the mornings.
This is a hidden gem, drive about a mile or two up the road from Kent towards Fenwick and you’ll see a road to the right with parking and a porta potty. People bring their dogs there in the morning for a quick swim! It’s also a nice place to relax with kids, no waves and nice warm shallow water to play in!
