The fireworks around Lake Ashi begin with the "Kosui Festival Fireworks" and continue with "the Grand Festival Celebration Fireworks", "Hakone-en Summer Night Festa", "Kojiri Dragon God Festival Fireworks", and "the Torii-yaki Festival Fireworks". Spanning six days from late July to early August, the spectacular fireworks that light up the night sky over Lake Ashi have become a beloved summer tradition, marking the beginning of the season.

大名行列/The Daimyo Gyoretsu

Every year on November 3rd, Culture Day, the Daimyo Gyoretsu (Feudal Lord's Procession) takes place. Led by flag bearers and guards, a group of 170 participants dressed in vibrant traditional costumes—featuring spearmen, court ladies, and a daimyo palanquin—parade along the old Tokaido Road.
