A unique seaside village, perfect for a potter and a bite to eat! The architecture is eclectic and the ambience is serene. There are wonderful walks along the beach and into the nature reserves behind the village.

A little more effort but a lot of worth it!
Park in the small hamlet of Covehithe and walk 15 minutes through the fields to this wild beach. Pure sand, backed by fragile dunes.
Perfect for a walk to take in the eerie and beautiful felled trees lost as the dunes retreat from erosion. Or for a day of off the beaten path sunbathing and swimming.
Be warned there are no facilities here and no shade, take everything you would need and leave nothing behind.

We love Diss for its antiquing oppurtunities!
Check out TW Gaze for their auctions which happen several times a week and then pop into town for a sandwich by the lake.
Diss also has many of the big supermarkets.
