These events are annual festivals held in Mid April through early May each year. There are many shuttles from all cities in the Coachella Valley to easily bring you to the festivals. Avoid the traffic in and out. Shuttles are the way to go.
I recommend using the many available shuttles to the festival.

This is a must when visiting Palm Springs. A revolving cable car that takes you from the base of the San Jacinto Mountains up the mountain on a cable. 11,000 feet up to the top tram station. Enjoy the hiking, views and restaurants.
