I love this place. It's often our first choice "Friday night, I don't want to cook, I don't want to spend a lot of money - let's chill and eat taco's instead" place. Buffalo Shrimp and the Grilled Shrimp tacos are my "go-to's".

This delightful French bakery opens at 8am and I've yet to arrive and there not be a line... and for GOOD reason. I find it hard to get past the almond croissants but everything looks fabulous. What a treasure! So many trails to discover, for walking or jogging. Oh yea, there's also the beach...walk on (with bath house and grill) or drive on if you have required surf fishing tags and 4 wheel drive. We are SO lucky to have this park nearby. Way to go Delaware.

The comfort bikes are just as the name suggests - perfect for the full bike trail loop! The people who own/work there are very knowledgeable and accomodating. They charge by the hour, 1/2 day, day or week. Nice people, fair pricing and quality equipment. If you do the full trail, reward yourself with lunch at Grain, located at the Ferry Terminal overlooking Delaware Bay - or any of the great restaurants along the way.

I’ve been in love with Lewes from the very first moment we met over 30 years ago. 1st town in the 1st state. Charming seaport town with an abundance of great restaurants and cute shops. Grab a coffee from Nottinghill or a fresh green juice from Nectar and go sit in the park by the canal, walk the labyrinth at St. Peter’s or immerse yourself in maritime history at the Zwaanendael Musuem. So worth a visit!
