Activities

This is a wonderful place to hire Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards etc or take a barge ride along the canal. There is also a bar and snack kiosk and some evenings a mobile food van will visit. It is beautiful to sit next to the canal and watch the activities. Everyone is very friendly and it is only a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive from Woodcroft.

Sightseeing

The Willow and Wetland centre is only about a 10 minute drive from Woodcroft and is the only wetland area in the country still growing Willows. It has a fascinating museum and you can also take a tour of the basket making. They have made baskets for Fortnum and Mason, large commissions for film sets and coffins, to name but a few. There is a coffee shop and other boutique shops on site for you to enjoy.
