This is the most visited attraction in our part of the state. It’s been impeccably maintained, and is one of the neatest Cliff Dwellings I’ve ever seen. (A little smaller than Mesa Verde, but just as impressive!)

This is about 1 1/2 hours from Silver City, but a neat place to visit in the summer to cool off in the river, and play in the swimming holes. There’s an interesting history behind it also, and they’ve done a great job maintaining it, and even restored it just a few years ago.

Historic Army Outpost. Beautiful historic homes still standing, but at this rate, not for much longer. Go see this history, before it’s gone! It’s well worth the 20 minute drive.

Beautiful monastery! One of only a few of its kind in the US, I believe. Well worth the 25 minute drive, just north of town, in the Gila National Forest. Gorgeous views for days, and if you can catch a service, you won’t regret it. The monks chanting, is a sound you won’t soon forget.
