This beautiful 2.5 km (1.6 mile) easy going trail begins at the end of Cranberry Road in Callander, and stretches out to Callander Bay. The trail branches off about half-way through, leading to a platform overlooking the Cranberry Marsh. With interpretive signage, benches along the way, and a gorgeous view of Callander Bay, this trail is perfect for the whole family.

The pathway winds through a variety of environments including sections surrounded by trees, streams, and nature, municipal parks, roadways, and residential areas as well as North Bay’s beautiful waterfront. Along the waterfront, walkers may choose to stroll along the lock-stone sidewalk which meanders through seasonal gardens and along beautiful Lake Nipissing, while cyclists and bladers continue along the paved pathway. The pathway runs parallel to Lakeshore Drive where pathway users can take a short detour and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants.
