Lost Meadows Apiaries & Meadery

Lost Meadows Apiaries & Meadery is owned and operated by siblings Ayla and Graeme Foers and we look forward to welcoming you to our farm and pollinator gardens. Mead is alcohol made from honey. Our meads are made in small batches. They are dry and sparkling, and some of our flavours include: wildflower honey, dry hopped, crabapple, strawberry rhubarb & more. We use our own honey to make the meads as well as fruits and berries from other local Ontario farms. Our honey is of single meadow origin. This means the honey from each meadow is kept separate throughout its journey from hive to jar. Similar to wine, each meadow has its own Terroir. The different flora that grow around each meadow all contribute different tasting nectars that make the honey. Our Farm Store and Gardens are open Wednesday-Sunday 10-5 Free Mead and Honey tastings are offered in store Enjoy $2 off a bottle of mead in our gardens and $10 off your purchase of $75 or more in store!
