Beside the beach there is a sculpture to commemorate The Flight of the Earls from this area. Next to the beach, you will find a lovely children’s play park, a beachfront woodland walk, a putting green and a Napoleonic Gun Battery. The Swilly ferry connects the village with Buncrana on the far side of the Lough.
