The Shag Harbour Incident Interpretive Centre, located in the fishing village of Shag Harbour along the South Shore, chronicles the sighting of a UFO which crashed into the waters of Shag Harbour leaving no trace other than yellow foam. Visitors to the Centre can view television documentaries, newspaper articles, other memorabilia, and an exhibit on outer space. After a tour of our centre, visitors can browse through our gift shop. The UFO Gazebo and picnic site can be found about 3 minutes up the road from the Centre, where visitors can look out on the ocean to the location the object crashed in 1967.
