The Muskegon River is a nice, lazy slow moving river which makes it one of the best for family friendly entertainment for canoeing, kayaking and tubing. The gentle flow of this section of river allows all skill levels of people to enjoy the river, from children to grand parents.
The eastern section from Houghton Lake to Croton-Hardy dam is nice and temperate with lots of outfitters along the way to help you plan the perfect trip.
