The design of the square is by Arq. Edwin Villalta.
One of the purposes of its construction was to give a better visual perspective to the West façade of the National Museum. As a project, it generated controversy due to the demolition of some residences of heritage value that were found on the site.

Top 3 Museums In San José
In a route of less than a kilometer you will be able to visit three of the most important museums of the Costa Rican capital.
These are the Central Bank Museum, the Museum of Jade and Pre-Columbian Culture, and the National Museum of Costa Rica. These are located in the lower part of the Plaza de la Cultura and on the west side of the Plaza de la Democracia, respectively.

Eventhough the apartment doesn't include a parking spot, they're available in the building for $20/night.
Please let me know if you need a parking before you book your reservation so that I can make sure that there's a parking spot available.

Booking Amenities Inside The Building
As seen in the ad, there are the 20+ amenities in the building.
If you're planning on using them by yourself, there's no need for you to book a reservation. Nevertheless, if someone books a reservation you'll have to leave the area during that time.
If you'd like to host a private gathering with friends, let me know so that I can book a reservation for you. Please note that only guests with at least 5 nights stay have this access and you'll have to pay a 15.000 colones (about $25) cleaning fee.
