This has all the animals found in Yellowstone national park but without the drive. Kids love seeing animals and this was definitely worth the money! Plus they have a petting zoo and rides including Ferris wheel. We love looking in their beautiful gift shop too for some of the best souvenirs around. They do sell food there or feel free to bring your own lunch.

We love coming here to see and feed the huge trout fish. The kids love it. There is an old cabin that the forest service manages and does free tours. Pretty common to see a moose standing the water eating the river grass at this spot.

Harriman State Park
3489 Green Canyon RdA fun and relaxing river float. You can rent tubes or rafts or you can bring your own. The float takes about 2 hrs and you will see amazing scenery and occasionally some wildlife on the riverfront.

You will want to call and make sure they have what you want or need. Located an hour south of Island Park, but if you come from Utah it is a good place to stop. They charge per day and are a lot less expensive than renting in Island Park
