Here are my top pics wether you’re looking for a quick bite walking distance from the apartment or a restaurant/bar scene.

This neighborhood has several diverse restaurants within a two two block radius in Mott Haven, The Bronx. If you are looking to explore the food scene, catch a nice brunch or have a nice dinner, I highly recommend visiting the restaurants in Mott Haven. How to get there: 11 min car ride or 20 min by the BX21 bus.

Great bottomless and brunch special

You can take the 2 train at 149th Street-3 Ave going Downtown to Times Square-42 nd street (30 min train ride), transfer to the 7 train towards Hudson Yards. Then exit Hudson Yards, you’ll see the famous Vessel, which is now closed due to multiple suicides, but you can get a nice picture of it. Then the entry to the HighLine (elevated greenway on an old railroad) is near look for the signs. Then continue of the Highline and get off on 14th street Chelsea Market. In Chelsea Market I recommend eating a taco from Los Tacos. no.1 or any restaurant that catches your eye. Then I’Little Island is walking distance (3mim) walk. You can grab a Coffee at the famous Starbucks Reserve before heading to Little Island. Finally you can walk Meat Packing

The Bronx Little Italy, Bronx zoo and Botanical Garden are all walking distance. I recommend buying fresh bread and cheese in The Bronx Little Italy, and produce in general. There are many restaurants to choose from. Getting there: BX 15 (31 min bus ride)

My Airbnb is located 10 mins away from the yankee stadium by car. 16 mins by bus-take the BX 6 24 min walk
