Getting to the town center
Some travel tips here for you.
From our house to the town centre is around 25min walking distance. You can get a taxi that would cost you around £7 one-way, as I would recommend Uber or Rainbow Taxis Hemel (both of them have a mobile app for online booking). The other option is to get a bus number 20 that would cost around £2.50 return journey. The bus stop is just 5min walking distance from our house.

Hemel Hampstead Train Station
From Hemel Hempstead train station there are trains to Central London every 20min and the journey takes around 20-35min, depending if you take a fast train or no. The price depends if it’s a peak-time, off-peak or super off-peak and it could be anything between £15-£25 return journey.
In order to get to Hemel Hempstead train station you can get a bus number 20 or a taxi.
The bus stop is just 5min walking distance from our house and the journey takes around 15min to the train station. Return ticket for the bus would cost around £2.50.
Uber or Rainbow Taxis would cost you £7-£8 one-way.
