Pioneer Square was the original hub of Seattle. It burnt down in 1889 after a carpenter was careless with fire, and was built up a story above where it had been. Find galleries, restaurants and the Underground Tour in Pioneer Square.
The Seattle Art Museum is a few blocks north of this historic spot.
