Gastro-pub, excellent, creative food. Still feels like a pub too so you can just pop there for a pint. 2 min away from my flat. Best to book. Service isn't always on the ball though.

Great coffee and almond croissants. If the weather's good enough you can sit outside and watch the goings on or read the paper.

I love the coffee shop but it's a Museum too. If you walk over Paultney Bridge, past Laura Place and onto Great Paultney Street. You'll then see The Holbourne Museum in front of you.

Always fits you in if you've forgotten to book anywhere and I really like Jamies. You can wait at the bar area if they don't have a table straight away.

Old skool, family run Italian. Nunzio and Franco will look after you and the staff are excellent and very friendly. Better to book but they may fit you in even if you haven't.
