This is calling my post "edge water resort" for some reason and won't let me change it. It's not. It's the Portneuf River. In summer, renting inner tubes and floating the stretch of the Portneuf River that flows through town is a common and fun activity and way to keep cool. There are a number of tube rental places throughout town, and some places, like Mountain Mayhem, also offer a shuttle that picks people up at the pull-out and brings them back to the start.
