Take a full day to visit Babylonstoren. The gardens are spectacular, and there are two restaurants to choose from (one of them is far more budget friendly).

A great place to do wine tasting. The view is magnificent, and the restaurant is very popular (so I would recommend booking in advance). You can also book a picnic basket and sit on the lawn - again, phone at least a day ahead. It's a great space for families as well - there are jungle gyms and a big area for the kids to run around and explore.
