The Zoo Negara features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. Of these, the majority are fish and bird species while about a hundred are mammals and the reptiles. Don't forget to visit the Pandas.
Its aquarium "Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium" is a very popular attraction. It displays over 80 species of aquatic animals, both marine and freshwater, including invertebrates.

A hill resort north of KL, Genting Highlands is home to an indoor theme park (currently closed), shopping complex, restaurants, and more, which you can enjoy at your leisure. The cable car ride up the hill is included but all other entrance fees and activities are at your own expense so you can choose what you want to do.
