Always a great experience. Pizza is probably the best thin crust pizza in town. The service is always perfect. The new wine bar in the back to wait for your table is AWESOME. It's such a cool atmosphere like a speak easy. Was almost fun to wait. The new fresh ricotta is AMAZING!

One of a kind, the only one in the city, family owned best burgers and milkshakes. There can be long line ups during summer time when everyone comes here for the milkshakes however; the service is incredibly fast. You can mix up to 3 flavors in one milk shake, there is up to 4500 combinations available here. Awesome fresh fruit sundaes as well. Oh and if you rather eat your dessert than drinking it, banana split and dipped cones are awesome. The burgers and hot dogs are also very good. A must try if you're in Calgary!

Best hot dogs ever. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. You have to go just to experience it. Don't forget to play one of the cool 1980s arcade games while you are there as well. Still at the 1980s prices. What more could you ask for.

Ming is a long-standing staple on Calgary's 17th Ave. For people looking to break w/ the more pub-like atmosphere of some of our other well respected venues in the area, Ming is likely the right place. They have a large selection of Martini's and the best Ginger Beef I've tasted. The staff is always helpful and recently worked to give my wife a Surprise BDay party in the "Red Room". The only down-side I see to Ming these days is that it is not as busy as it once was - give Ming your business and help ensure the venue's continued longevity on 17th Ave.
PS - let your friends attempt to pick up the coins on the floor.

NTNL is a great beer hall that is worth checking out whether it's a quiet Wednesday night or a crazy weekend party. The food is always decent and the beer selection is of course very wide. The new rooftop patio is a cool little spot that is well shaded for hot summer afternoons. The bowling alley is a really awesome place to enjoy some games while you're able to drink while plain 10 pin bowling.

The Calgary Tower is a fun stop and must do in the city. Some people may not want to pay for a ticket to look out the window, but I thought it was worth it. The glass bottom floor is fun and the 360 panoramic views of the city stretching all the way to the foothills of the Rockies is pretty cool. It was a clear day the day that I went, so the ring of mountains around the city was looming in the horizon. When you go, just make sure that it is a clear and sunny day to get the best bang for your buck in terms of the spectacular views. And, it is great for shots of Calgary's towering downtown skyscrapers.

I love walking here any time of the day. Such a scenic and tranquil green space in the heart of downtown Calgary. The flowers are spectacular and the walkways and grassy areas are well maintained. Sometimes there are talented buskers playing instruments which makes the walk even more enjoyable. Another bonus are the food stands, especially the soft ice cream truck!

The glenbow is always enjoyable to go to. One of the best museums in Canada. A must visit for anyone in Calgary. The exhibitions and displays are very well curated. The sculptures and art are magnificent. It's also nice that the first Thursday of every month is free entry.

This is a great Mall. It's upscale and there are a lot of trendy stores. It seems that it's run really well. Typically there isn't garbage anywhere and tenants who leave are filled quickly. I also like how they manage traffic in the front. It has all of the best stores, one of the best mall food courts that I have seen anywhere, the Cineplex Cinemas and it is so easy to access it via the C-Train from downtown. It is always busy, it is nice inside and well designed in terms of finding your way around easily. One of the best malls in Calgary.

Fortunately, the grocery store is easy to use on the way to and from work. Lower price s than Co-op. And the staff are friendly. Very nice produce section, has a few items you won't find at other Safeway in the city.
