Knox Mountain is a beautiful urban oasis in Kelowna. Hiking the peak provides wonderful views over the lake, city, valley. Great photo opportunities. You can also choose the more relaxing hike to Paul's Tomb and enjoy secret beach coves, also with stunning views of the lake. The landscape is native, deer are frequent. Early mornings are quiet with many more people during the later mornings/afternoons.

Bliss makes the best turkey sandwich I've found. It's a quick grab for lunch. Located just two blocks from the cottage this is also a great place to sip some morning coffee with any of their decadent bakery treats. It's hard to go wrong.
