We enjoy a lot going to Winslow on Bainbridge island.
take the bus downtown seattle then take the ferry to bainbridge island on foot. and then walk to downtown winslow. and walk down to the water,. a couple of restaurants , marina, beautiful views of the area. and great shopping with a lot of independent boutiques.

take the bus downtown seattle then take the ferry to bainbridge island on foot. and then walk to downtown winslow. and walk down to the water,. a couple of restaurants , marina, beautiful views of the area. and great shopping with a lot of independent boutiques.
the ferry dock is 5 mn away from our house. Fauntleroy. and Vashon island is a 20mn ride. need to take the car. it is mostly the countryside there. beaches picnics, sightseeing. a very small downtown. very authentic and friendly island.
