Museums and Parks
Balboa Park is a must if this is your first visit to San Diego. The architecture is breathtakingly beautiful and is home to 16 museums, restaurants and shops. There are many different styled gardens and trails to enjoy such as the Japanese Garden, the Rose Garden, the Lily Pond and more. On weekends you will find live performances, food stations, fortune tellers, and handcrafts for sale along the walkways. The organ pavilion has free concerts open to the public, usually scheduled over weekends and holidays.
