Parks & Nature
Some of my favourite natural beauties to enjoy! This is Cape Town!!
Beautiful walking and intense combination of the largest Flaura species in the world. You can walk all the way though the gardens, have tea or lunch. Continue up the mountain and walk onto the slopes of Table Mountain for stunning views. World class Biking & Hiking Trails

Go down to Boulders, the water is warm, it is sheltered from the SE wind and you can experience our Penguins swimming by. To avoid the crowds and have one of the best swims in Cape Town, venture down to Boulder's (TAKE BELLEVUE DRIVE - not the road to Seaforth Restaurant that is over crowded with tourists) and pay the R75 entry fee and swim with the penguins. It is a unique experience!

Hike up Skeleton Gorge from Kirstenbosch Gardens and take the cable car down. Or for a shorter trail hike up Platteklip Stairs on the front face of Table Mountain and Cable Car down.

My all time favourite beach. Take water and snacks with you as there are NO shops in Llandudno. Enjoy the pristine white sands and icy surf. Take an Uber in mid-summer as parking can be a problem

V&A Waterfront: This is our all time favourite Cape Town restaurant. It has no view, its in a shopping Mall and it is more pricey than I would usually like. But it has the best seafood in the country by a mile... a long mile! The service is also good. There are usually queues at 12:30 for lunch and 7 pm for dinner. But they move fast and you can wine taste while you wait. Don't visit Cape Town without treating yourself to this!

Mozambique Restaurant and Willoughby & Co Restaurant are my two favourite places to eat in Cape Town. Mozambique has the quintessential Cape Harbour view and great Portuguese and Prawns and Willoughby's simply has the best seafood and sushi... possibly in the world :)

I recommend the SPAR on Station Road, Observatory. This is easy walking distance from the apartment. There is a secure parking area at the back of the shop. This is a good grocery store with lovely fresh breads and pastries. Try their Pastei de Nata!!!
