Old town - Stockholms oldest buildings are still standing on this beautiful island in the middle of the city, where people both live and work. There are a lot of great restaurants, cafés, tourist shopping and sightseeing. You will also find the Royal Castle in Old Town with it's guard parades.

Djurgården is a beautiful very green island in the middle of Stockholm with big oak trees. It ha a animal park (Skansen), an amusement park (Grönalund) and several museums (Nordic Museum, Abba museum, Vasa museum).

Only 15 minutes walk from the apartment there is a popular park in Aspudden, with all kinds of animals and a mini golf course! There are sheep, goats, pigs, horses, hens, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs and so on.

If you want to take a walk there is a beautiful place maybe 30 minutes away by foot. You can find Alfred Nobel, the man who invented the dynamite, his dynamite factory is in Vinterviken. It's just by the water and a lot of people go for walks there. It's a nice walk over there; you will walk trough Aspudden.
