Roundhay park is one of the biggest city parks in the UK, and is a must see!
They have two lakes, complete with a variety of swans and other birds. Please don't feed them bread though - there is bird food available from the Lakeside Cafe at the lower lake.
There are paths so don't worry too much if it's wet weather, dress up warm and go have a stroll.

They have all the essentials, so would definitely recommend this shop if you just need to get a few bits.

If you're driving, it's about 15 minutes. If you want to take a taxi, it'll be around £8.
To get a bus, you will need to walk to the Corn Exchange, and then take a number 12 bus to Street Lane. From there it's a short walk to the house.
