New café in outer Nørrebro but worth a visit. It's a tiny place run by a group of friends from Jylland - hence the name FOVL, which is the local pronunciation for 'fugl' meaning bird. Go and eat some breakfast, a toast or try one of the limonades. Haven't been a night yet, but could imagine it would be a great spot for a beer og glass of wine as well!

They do super salad bowls with lots of delicious things for cheap. Right on the central street of Nørrebro, so perfect place to do some people watching on the way somewhere.

Good ramen and beer place run by Mikkeller (who runs the beer empire of Copenhagen ;)) and Griffenfeldsgade is very 'Nørrebro'..

Good ramen and beer place run by Mikkeller (who runs the beer empire of Copenhagen ;)) and Griffenfeldsgade is very 'Nørrebro'..

Super cheap, cosy and fun little place in Vesterbro. There is a buffet plus you can buy coffee and cake for pennies.

Super cheap, cosy and fun little place in Vesterbro. There is a buffet plus you can buy coffee and cake for pennies.
This is definitely worth a visit! It's a old church renovated into a community house in central Vesterbro. Every night they do family style sharing dinner at 6 pm for 50 kr. per person (but come at least 30 min early to get a table). You're seated on long tables sharing the food with lovely people sitting next to you. It's very popular with families - pretty sure kids eat for free (so nice and noisy ;) ).

Every night they do family style sharing dinner at 6 pm for 50 kr. per person (but come at least 30 min early to get a table). You're seated on long tables sharing the food with lovely people sitting next to you. It's very popular with families - pretty sure kids eat for free (so nice and noisy ;) ).

This place is run by an organisation called Indvandrer Kvindecenteret in Nørrebro which upskills and prepares immigratant women for a working life in Denmark. Pop in for a quick bite, a cup for coffee or join the Tuesday communal dinners at 6 pm (but come around 5 to be sure to get seated).
Popular with local families ;)

This is the best summer spot in Copenhagen!! Located in Refshaleøen you feel like you're in the countryside but with the vibe of the big city.
It's an old boat house with a pontoone and a small sauna (so take your swim wear) and enjoy the dish of the day and a glass of natural wine.
