The restaurant menu consists of home-cooked, traditional Newfoundland food at a reasonable price! Plenty of soups - including pea soup and dumplings, moose soup and seafood chowder! -, fish cakes, sandwiches, all-day breakfast and desserts! They make their own jams, mustard pickles and preserves that you can buy right in the store! This place has a great atmosphere as it's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
Additionally, its located in a gift/craft/souvenir shop! You can take it all in while you eat or check out the huge selection of local, hand-knit goods while you wait for your meal!

Beach combing, boat-watching, and breathtaking sunset views!! Main street skirts along the ocean harbour and has a rocky beach, a brook (with walking trail), a public wharf, gazebo, parking spaces and benches that provide plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the oceanfront. The beach is easily accessed from the street via a boardwalk and walking path. Sea glass, drift wood and other treasures can be found there. The sunset is one that will not disappoint as it disappears beyond the horizon, with the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse, boats and birds in plain sight.

Salmon Point sits atop a small cliff that juts towards the mouth of Bonne Bay. It provides panoramic views that include the ocean, Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse, the community of Rocky Harbour, the mouth of Bonne Bay and cliffs and hills on the south side of the park. It is easily accessed within the community of Rocky Harbour (south end) by a short walking trail that runs along an old wooden fence. Parking is available at the beginning of the trail and there is an observation platform with seating at the top.
