Kerry Way walking route
The Kerry Way is just minutes from the house. It is located between Sneem and Castlecove on one of the most scenic stretches of the route. Highly recommended for hillwalkers and hikers.
Castlecove village has a shop with petrol station and a post office. There is a bar and hotel.
Nearby is the remarkable Staigue Fort (approx 5km) a very well preserved ancient ring fort. Ancient rock art can also be seen in the area and local tors are given.
