Located on a small stone pier by the harbour, The East Pier offers seafood dining (non seafood option available) either inside or outside on their unique terrace by the sea. It is also a lovely spot for a coffee and slice of homemade cake, particularly after a walk along the coastal path from Elie.

Elie sits on the Fife Coastal Path which stretches for 117 miles from the Forth Estuary in the South to Tayport in the North. Their website www.fifecoastalpath.co.uk can provide you with useful information on various local routes or walks further afield. To the North of Elie accessed from the Golf course beach is the famous Chain Walk where you can climb along the rocks and cliffs using a series of chains. Not suitable for small children and best accessed at low tide. Heading towards St Monans you can also enjoy the stunning views from the lighthouse and pass by the 18th century Lady’s Tower with its unique view point.
