The Captain will bring the boat (Sail Fish) into the protected and calm waters of the Mississippi Sound while the deckhand lowers the shrimping net, while explaining all aspects of the net and how it operates. One the shrimping net is in place the deckhand will give you a guided tour of the shrimping and seafood industry from its beginnings to present day. Once the net is brought back into the boat. The Captain and deckhand will sort through the catch and explain each species of sea-life caught in detail. You will also see other marine life not caught in the net, such as dolphins, pelicans and seagulls and you might get to see a sea turtle as well. Once the sea-life is explained in detail they are placed in an aquarium for you to get an up close and personal look at the creatures. At the end of the tour the Captain will let you know where to purchase your fresh shrimp as well as the local owned restaurants that serve Gulf Fresh Seafood. Other things to note Please note that tours can be cancelled due to weather. Also there must be a total of 6 paying passengers for the boat to leave the dock. Also note the tour is only 70 minutes and there is not a restroom aboard the vessel

Thank you to our incredible customers for making us the most popular kayak tour in Tampa Bay! Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters and beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. My team and I will meet everyone, do introductions, & give waterproof bags, and then get everyone prepped for kayaking (lifejackets are provided, but not required for guests over 16). No experience needed as we'll give everyone a little paddling overview! We use primarily tandem kayaks for ease and comfort. (Your booking time is the planned arrival time). After that we'll head out onto the water & into Shell Key Preserve! The Preserve is a beautiful shallow environment with plenty of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem! We'll discuss both the ecosystem and history of the Preserve. From the shallow seagrass flats to the large mangrove islands to the pristine beaches of Shell Key itself we'll try and cover it all! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (with friendly tides, primarily March-October) We'll also look for and talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other various fish & bird life! We'll also be able to see a few St. Pete landmarks & discuss their history as well as some recommendations for places to eat & things to do while you're here! We have have had an amazing time meeting people from all over the nation and the world and it's about time for us to introduce the newest concept by Clear View Kayaks; The NEON NIGHTS kayak experience! We will begin right in the heart of Miami beach on the iconic Collins Avenue. Although we are going at night, you will be completely at ease and feel completely safe because this canal is protected on both sides by a seawall and there are virtually no waves. We will do Introductions and a brief orientation. Once kayak assignments are made, we will lower ourselves into the water, and here is the best part; Not only are our Kayaks completely TRANSPARENT, but they are outfitted with bright Neon Lights! This makes takes everything to a completely different level! The combination of the bright lights of Miami Beach and the Neon lights from our kayaks and you have yourself the most epic instagrammable moment in the city! The highlight of the experience is when we reach the perfect "chill" location where we will hitch all of our kayaks together in the middle of the water, pop out some bubbly, and cheers to new friends, epic moments, and to a future full of more Miami visits! We will return to the kayak launch feeling connected with the moments we had and with new motivations to keep up the good vibes! Other things to note Remember this is an Outdoor experience! Your Zoom Chat Box serves as a “Clues Journal,” letting you share your thoughts and ideas with others while detectives question a handful of eccentric suspects. A series of in-home scavenger hunts are thrown into the mix for added hilarity. Once all the evidence is in, the detectives get your thoughts on the case and a vote is held. The suspect with the most votes wins a pair of handcuffs! Take this ride with professional actors Rachel Burttram and Brendan Powers as they welcome guests and get the ball rolling! Then comes the call, "Let's Do A Play!" and the quick costume changes begin!
