Rail bike adventure
How about cycling on abandoned rail tracks, enjoying the scenery, the unique view of the Saronic Gulf, and stories about the mythical Skiron and the German machine guns of World War II in the famous Kakia Skala near Megara? We offer the unique experience of riding specially designed pedal-powered railroad carts, on the vintage metric railway that used to connect Athens with the Peloponnese, through a region of unrivaled beauty and great history, from antiquity to the present day. First, you will be informed about the route and what you are about to see, as well as the contribution of the railway to the industrial history of the area. Then you will sit comfortably in your seats, after a short demonstration of how to operate the pedal-powered railroad cart, which is stabilized by four wheels on rails and therefore does not require balance or any other skills. The railbikes are completely safe, and in terms of speed, they are the same as conventional bikes. The length of the route is 7.5 km, 15 km in total including the return to Megara, and it is really easy. There will be stops along the route, during which the member of our crew will answer any questions you may have. Stops take place at selected locations with benches and stunning views.

Athens Tour on a magical beach, secret Temple & Wine tasting
We will visit together the breathtaking temple of the ancient Greek goddess Artemis on the banks of Erasinos river. The temple is located in one of the most important sacred and ancient sites of Athens and was built next to the Erasinos river in the area of Vravrona. After visiting the temple we will head to a magical beach that will be for sure the highlight. Walking through scenic area, full of trees, just to end up at emerald waters. A place (which I highly recommend for swimming) and is only known by locals. Then, we'll make a stop at medieval Vravrona's tower to enjoy this imposing building. We'll continue our beautiful trip tasting wines. Two different amazing wines made from the most famous Greek grape varieties are on my list- as an oenilogist - and of course I will explain you all the details about the wine. We will be going up the hill, where there is a beautiful Chapel dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. At the same time we will be gazing an amazing sunset from an excellent viewpoint. Finally, we will make a stop to try the most delicious and traditional greek "dish", pita bread "souvlaki". *The temple of Artemis is open every day 09:00 am - 15:30 pm. In case of afternoon tours, we will have limited access from outside. (entrance fee not incl: Temple 6€- free under 25y for european citizens)
History walk through a unique Athens neighborhood
Been to the Parthenon, done the center? Find out about an area close to the center with a rich but disturbing history. After arriving at the main square of Kessariani (a short taxi ride from the center or on the 224 bus), I will meet you and take you to a picturesque square just one street away to tell you the first part of my story about the area which starts in 1922. After this, we will commence on a circular walk with me pointing out different places and sights along the way. The talk is divided into four parts, generally going in chronological order and as we proceed you will see traces of the past and be able to visualize what life was like. There were not only immeasurable hardships for the inhabitants, but they created a close-knit community through hard won victories. Arriving destitute as refugees from Asia Minor and building new lives from scratch, the people of Kessariani were admirably resistant and brought with them a new and vibrant way of life. The tour will take an hour and a half and we will arrive back at the square we started from.

During the tour I am going to guide you through the most narrow and hidden streets where mainly locals go and I will tell you stories that are part of the local culture.
