You will meet me at my electric catamaran, Squid, under my HONEST ECO sign. We will depart from the dock located at the Historic Seaport. We will head out on the water to an area which provides a year round home for about 200 wild Bottlenose Dolphins. This is my moment to share the wonders of these marine mammals with you, while always operating my vessel in a manner that is safe and respectful of the dolphins and their need for space. With the right know-how I can usually find dolphins in under an hour and in calm waters. After observing the dolphins many different behaviors from the boat we will head to one of my favorite spots to snorkel with sponges, coral heads or a patch reef. I will take you to the best place with the best visibility that day. My mate will be your guide, leading you around a calm snorkeling spot and point out animals that make our ecosystem unique and answer any questions that you have. It is a pleasure to offer a wonderful experience on my boat, the experience will last 3 hours (day & night) . You'll be cruising from North Bay , making our way down to Beautiful Brickell. On our way you'll be able to take a picture of the Miami gorgeous skyline and also the mansions of the rich and famous. You will be able to listen to music and have a great time with the ones you love. This experience includes a cooler, ice, water, cups, fuel, a bluetooth sounds system, life vests, a floating mat and a great time! One of our boats has a restroom on board. We'll head out to the lower Florida Keys back-country where we'll fish for a variety of species such as Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Shark, Barracuda, Snapper, Sea Trout and a plethora of others in the gin clear waters of the shallows and flats. There will only be the three of us so you'll have a personalized guided trip and my undivided attention whether your asking questions about our unique ecosystem and its surroundings or the techniques and equipment we'll be using to stalk and catch fish on the most fertile and pristine fishing grounds on planet Earth! We'll typically be fishing depths of two feet to eight feet deep so the visual experience is like nowhere else in the continental United States. Once we finish our excursion you'll be brought back to our original departure point and you can enjoy some some excellent island eats and tropical cocktails like the locals do at the famous Looe Key Tiki Bar & Grill on Ramrod Key. There's also a gift shop on property so you can pick up some souvenirs for yourself, friends or family members! I will describe the techniques used to catch the elusive Peacock Bass and other exotic species. All fish are encouraged to be catch and released and I will photograph the clients catches for them.
