Sightseeing
Fantastic views and a great walk. You can make half a day of it. Start at Merewether Surf Club and walk along the coast. Can easily walk to Honeysuckle from the Surf Club. I would allow 4 hours. This will give you time to stop and take in the view along the way.

If you are staying with us for a while and want to do a day trip Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay in Port Stephens are so beautiful.
So many things to do here both water sports and land activities.
I have a breakdown of what is available in your room.
Well worth the drive or bus trip.
Make sure you do Mount Tomaree in Shoal Bay. 1/2 of steep mountain incline but well worth it for the view. Go on work up a sweat!!

If you are after another day (actually this would be more of a weekend or overnight trip) head to the Blue Mountains.
It is such a beautiful place to visit. Large canyons, walking trails, lookout points, waterfalls all surrounded by small villages. If your after shopping then do your research. Because it is a touristy destination shops can be expensive. Be a lot to see in a day so i would recommend spending more time here. It does get cold in our winter, autumn so make sure you rug up.
