Sightseeing
Laguna Quilotoa is just one of the highlights of the area. But it is a must see! You can do so many activities right there.
1. Hike down to the water and rent a kayak and paddle the circumference of the lake and ride a mule back up.
2. Hike all around the crater rim reaching heights of up to 12,800 feet - 3,900 meters. It takes 4-6 hours.
3. Hike part way around the crater rim and then head down through the canyon and up to Chugchilan, also 4-6 hours.

Laguna Quilotoa

There are small waterfalls, moss covered trees like jungle, orchids and mushrooms. This can be done as a day hike or horseback riding from the Black Sheep Inn.
