Definitely visit the mill for bread and cafe, plus local crafts gift shop. There is a tourist information centre here, as well as a lovely butchers and the Old Paper Shop grocers. You'll also find the co-op.
Nearby is the beautiful Pwll-Y-Wrach waterfall walk. You can walk from town or drive up (limited parking space).
The Bridge Inn does nice food.

This is our mountain and it's a gateway into the eastern Black Mountains. You definitely don't need to drive anywhere to walk somewhere beautiful! You could just spend all your time here with us!

We love our local The Farmer's Arms - but definitely book if you are going to eat! It's 6 minutes drive from us, or a pleasant 45 minute walk from the farm along country lane. It's on the A479 in the village of Cwmdu. The postcode is NP81RU.

Hugh provides the most incredible setting and mind blowing food! All served with you sat together at a long table in his orchard (indoors in winter). Totally gorgeous and highly recommend the experience. Definitely book!
