We invite you to our loving farm to meet and greet our adorable mini pigs!! (There are over 20 of them!) As well as 3 Dwarf goats, 10 chickens, 3 Babydoll sheep, 5 ducks, a mini hose, and 2 dogs! This is a hands-on interactive experience, and our piggies LOVE belly rubs and neck scratches!! Ask any questions you may have, or simply enjoy getting to know all of our animals. Be sure to look us on up Instagram and Facebook as SoCalMiniPigs. When you arrive you will be greeted by us, and we will explain each section of animals and guide you through the entire experience. You're welcome to ask questions or, go off and pet pigs or the other animals as you please. We will be there with you the entire time to aid you in any way possible. We will begin our classes with teaching everyone how to make pasta from scratch: ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle! We provide also a vegan alternative with dough without eggs. You will learn how to do 3 types of long pasta, 3 of short, and 4 different kind of ravioli. You can take this knowledge with you to your own kitchen with a copy of our recipes for you. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. Join us in the barn and pasture for farm animal fun at Adobe Acres Ranch! You will get to pet, feed, brush, and take selfies with our herd of happy farm animals and get to learn what it's like having miniature potbellied pigs, goats, sheep, miniature donkeys, and chickens for the evening during this farm adventure! The guided Farm Visit is approximately 1hr long and will start in the pasture with our four miniature pigs (such an oxymoron, though! They're still pretty big!) where you can add food to their bowls and watch them chow down... as you can imagine pigs do :) Then, we will tour the west barn and see their night enclosures where we will touch on the topic of backcountry animal husbandry and answer any questions you have about caring for farm animals. The barn leads into an open pasture where you will have the chance to feed, pet, brush, and take awesome photos with our two miniature donkeys, two pygmy goats, and maybe even our two shy sheep (they're... well, sheepish is a good way to put it! Ha!). You also have the option to deliver hay to their feed buckets with us for the evening and tuck them in safe & sound in the barn for the night. We are happy to introduce you to the 60-minute Glow Boat Experience on pedal boats! Romantic night date idea in San Diego Bay! The boat is illuminating 360 degrees inside and outside, and it's a lot of fun riding it after dark. To complete your experience, it will be a speaker and a small disco ball to make your boat rock'n'roll. Our crew will guide you through Night Bay to ensure you feel safe and know where to go. On an average night, we have a group of 12 boats and 2 boats with our crew. We will start at America's Cup Harbor, and after short pedaling, you will find yourself in San Diego Bay with a beautiful Night view of Downtown. On a typical night is no traffic and very peaceful. We will play music, cruise around, and enjoy the skyline. Pedal boats have a capacity of up to 3 adults (600lb maximum weight). No experience is necessary to maneuver these pedal boats; you are good to go if you can ride a bike! Join me in the land of miniatures. You will learn how and get to create tiny pottery on a mini pottery wheel. No previous pottery experience necessary! Overlooking a beautiful canyon with vistas of mountains east of San Diego, you will experience the green of fruit trees and birdsong, in this relaxing indoor outdoor art studio. This experience includes clay, glazing and firing of the clay. You will get to choose one color of glaze per pot. The clay cannot be taken home at the time of the class because it must be kiln fired. The turn around is about a week for drying, glazing, and firing. If you are visiting from out of town, I will be able to ship it to you for a minimum of $10/box. If you are local, I will contact you to know when they are ready to pick up. Depending on your location, we can also set up a time to meet up so I can get you back your miniature creations.

Welcome to the BEE LEAF USA x BEE BRIGADE Honeybee Sanctuary! This "bee sanctuary" serves as a space for relocated beehives to thrive after relocation from an ad verse space. Unlike a honey farm, we manage 75+ rescued beehives at this location that were in danger of extermination. The experience will include: - Learn the meaning of Rescue, Relocate, & Revive. - Learn about beekeeping tools/protective equipment - Enjoy a Honey Tasting - Brief Lesson on Honeybees & Beekeeping - Observation of a Honeybee Colony Inspection Guided by a Professional Beekeeper - Pictures with the Bees *NOTICE* We will be driving down a dirt road that gets a little dusty and steep, be sure to bring a vehicle that can be driven on dirt.

Welcome to our little farm! We're so excited to share what life on a urban farm is like. To start, we will greet you at the front of our house. Please let us know if you're afraid of dogs because our dog is friendly but quite big. Then, we'll take you out back to the farm where you'll be able to meet and play amongst the goats. We'll either be waking up the goats in the morning or bringing them back inside for bedtime. As this is a hands on experience, you may want to bring clothes that you don't mind dirtying. While here, you can play and cuddle with the goats, and I'll share more about how to take care of them. Being a goat owner is so much fun and I am happy to share more with you. You can feed them, play with them, cuddle them. We also do have a bunch of chickens, and many of them lay awesome, naturally coloured eggs. You are welcome to collect and purchase some of these eggs while you are visiting. If you'd like, you can bring apples, carrots (a few) or goat treats (found at a feed store), but we also have a few snacks to share with you! Other things to note: Please bring clothes and shoes that are allowed to get dirty. If you want to book another time or during the week, please send me a message/request! I can mostly accomendate :) Goats might "nibble" on you and your clothes, shoestrings or hair. The Dog might jump and "hug" you. Please be aware of that :)
