Tip-Based Asheville Walking Tour
Pay what you want in the end!
We will start downtown in Pack Square to learn about the history, architecture, and some of the local legends surrounding Asheville! During our tour, we will be sure to cover all major landmarks like the Basilica of St Lawrence, and the Grove Park Arcade, but we will also go off the beaten path to explore the Block, the YMI, Woolworth Walk's old-timey soda fountain, and Wall St's catwalk!
During the trip, I will be providing insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and play for the best prices, including the places where locals hang out for free! We will discuss hidden gems that many people walk by daily without ever noticing an eagle overhead, the faces engraved on the wall, or secret mice! We will dive deeper into Asheville's "buy local" culture and what that means for companies who get listed as "sell-outs." Also, we will discuss stories of sabotage, controversy, and little-known success stories of previous residents! We will also check out a cool museum called Leaf Global and taste local spirits from a distillery!
At the end, my guest will get discount beer tickets to taste some local brews from one of Asheville's finest, local breweries called Twin Leaf.

Most trips include 2 breweries, a couple of eating options, and depending on the day, a bonus brewery or winery. Non-drinkers will have plenty of sight-seeing options nearby as well.
Depending on the time of year, we may see otters, beavers, herons, friendly ducks, and colorful fish.

Private group or individual sessions are happily arranged in addition to the times shown here, please contact Dawn. Coffee Hike to Three Waterfalls
Love hiking and coffee? You've found the right place.
We have over 300 waterfalls around Brevard and searching different trail websites gets confusing to try and pick which one to visit, so I will make it easy, we’ll visit three of my personal favorites along a 3.5 mile loop. The terrain is mostly even, gravel trail with two steep sections (about 70 yards) that will get your heart pumping, but the views are worth the climbs.
To me there's nothing better than slowing down to appreciate the moment in nature with a great cup of coffee (and new friends!).
On this hike you will try my locally roasted coffee medium roast, called "Trail Magic". I recently hired the best hiking guides in WNC and we can't wait to lead you on a coffee hike!
Here's our plan.
1. We will meet at The Hooker Falls parking area in DuPont State Forest, and hike to Hooker Falls. Here we'll break to brew and share coffee together. You'll learn how to make coffee in the woods including how to filter water from the waterfall.
2. We'll head to Triple Falls. It's up a steep climb but we will take our time and the view is totally worth it.
3. After some pictures of Triple Falls, we'll keep hiking on to High Falls, a stunning end to our adventure.
Need a different date or time from what's listed? We have multiple guides, so please send date and time requests and we will do our best to accommodate!

Looking for a relaxing, creative, and social way to spend a few hours in the heart of the River Arts District? Come decorate your own piece of functional pottery at an adorable creative studio inside one of Asheville's most historic buildings : The Asheville Cotton Mill. The historic Cotton Mill, built in 1887, is now home to a variety of studios, galleries, a Cuban food truck, and bars, providing an inspiring backdrop to enjoy a drink, lunch, and some creative fun!
-Guests get two hours to design and paint their own ceramic "blank" and can choose from a wide variety of pre-fired pottery pieces like bowls, mugs, planters, plates, and more, with curated options and even pieces made in our West Asheville production studio.
-Booking via AirBnb gets you a piece with a $35 or less value (can be combined among group members), or, if a more expensive piece is desired the difference can also be paid in person, a reserved time so you are sure to get a seat, and shipping included!
-A wide range of colors and brush styles are available and our staff is here to help you achieve the design you're going for! Let us clean up, add a top coat of glaze, fire, and ship the piece to your home (pick-up also available for locals).
- Private party booking after-hours by request with BYO alcoholic beverage option...message us!
- Once finished, peruse our gallery of local art for a souvenir :)

Sacred Living Tea Ceremony with Joy
You will arrive in silence, get settled and we will ground our energies in the space. I will play crystal singing bowls to begin our journey together. We will sit on cushions on the floor (sofa available if needed) and remain in silence while I serve the first 3 bowls of Living Tea. This is an opportunity to let the Tea integrate into the body & move the Chi. I will then welcome you to the space & check in to see how you are feeling in the moment & if you have anything you might feel called to share. As the Tea moves the energy, conversation seems to unfold effortlessly and with a flair towards more conscious topics & less day to day logistics. I will tune in & choose Oracle cards for you if this feels in concurrence with how you are feeling. You are also welcome to choose your own cards. The format flows with the moment & the sharings are free to expand as they unfold.
You are welcome to stop drinking at any time, although I do encourage you to enjoy the benefits the Tea has to offer. Time tends to slip away in ceremonial space & I honor the process as it unfolds. A donation to honor the space after 1.5 hours is appreciated with no expectation.
Once we feel complete with the our moment in time together, I will close the ceremony & be grateful for your presence.
There is an ancient Chinese saying..."drink tea, make friends".
