THE STATION The Station is must see. It’s a lovely restored former Victorian railway station, which is now a cafe/restaurant and an arts centre. It’s located by the swimming pool and river. It has a cinema, art displays, and several local small businesses, selling their own locally produce, including a bakers/delicatessen, micro brewery and ice cream shop. The café does the best breakfasts in town, served daily from 09.00 - 11.45.

The old Railway Station. Eat on the old platform, sample local beer, cheese, cakes, bread and more. Stay for a film in the 3 screen cinema. Or swim in the leisure pool next door.

Only ten minutes drive to the quirky regenerated Richmond Station - with two cinema screens, a restaurant and café-bar, an art gallery, a heritage centre, a number of rooms for public use, and a range of artisan food-producers - including a very well loved local ice cream stand. If that’s not enough, you can enjoy the fabulous Easby Abbey loop walk, enjoying the river all the way - approx 1 hour.
