Great, close by quiet place for hikes and safe swimming hole with sand beach for kids. Also a small playground. Drive into the park and turn directly right; beach is at end of parking lot, or continue up to the parking area just after the small bridge and go for a more wilderness experience. Maintained forest paths that take you all over the park - well sign posted options are there.
