If you take a long walk or the public transportation, you can go down to Hvidovre Harbor. Its a small harbor, with a small beach, and green area.

Take a walk down to Hvidovre Marina for some fresh air and a view of Copenhagen's waterside. In the summer, the nearby beach is a nice and family friendly place with shallow water and lots of sunbathing families
