There are beautiful views from here and Crooksbury Hill is known as one of Surrey's hidden gems. There's a pub with pet donkeys en route (The Donkey in Elstead) or visit The Barley Mow pub in the Sands, Farnam afterwards. On a clear day there are stunning views from Crooksbury Hill over south-west Surrey and east Hampshire, across to the South Downs.
