This is an excellent restaurant showcasing the food from the Northeast region of Thailand (Issan). Forget your pad thais and green currys, since living here Issan food is what I think of when I think of Thai food. The quality here is top notch which makes the pricing very reasonable, despite it being a bit higher than typical Issan food prices. If you're completely new to Issan food, I would recommend trying: - Somtam Thai (pappaya salad, a national favourite) - Laab moo (a spicy pork mince salad, another popular dish) - Nua dad deow (sundried beef deep fried, delicious!) - Namtok (similar to laab, but with chopped meat instead of minced) Other advice would be to be adventurous. They have English menus on request and the selection is vast.
