Great stop not too far out of town. The trail head to Geraldine lake is not far from here.

The Athabasca Falls are part of the Athabasca River, the longest river in Alberta and a designated Heritage River. The falls drops about 25 m (80 feet). Beautiful natural scenery. An easy stop off the highway. You can walk as much or as little as you would like on the well-established trails.
