Thunder Mountain Trail to Andante Loop is a 3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sedona, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Connects with Andante Trail and allows you to connect with Chimney rock trail, Teacup and Sugarloaf.
Lower Chimney Rock, Summit, Chimney Rock Pass, Thunder Mountain Trails. The North Urban Trail System is an interconnected series of trails along the red rock front country at the north edge of Sedona. If you walk down Buckboard road (walking down Rodeo, first street to the left) from the property and take it to the end then make a right, on your left will be a windmill and that is the trail head to the aforementioned hikes. Please remember to pack extra water and wear significant sunscreen. ENJOY!

You can access this trail from here by heading towards Chimney Rock. You can do a loop or extend your hiking for a longer experience. The trail goes up and down but is not too difficult. I would say moderate and likely okay for those whom are not regular hikers. Really beautiful scenery in all directions. Don't forget the sunscreen!
