“Uptown” is the area on San Marco Avenue north of the fort and the city parking garage. The street is lined with local shops, restaurants and a bodega. Stop in Juniper Market for a quick bite or coffee. Spinster Abbott’s has a taproom and live music weekly. You can the Hot Box food truck in their patio for Hawaiian cuisine, like Ahi poke bowls.

There are several small boutiques and antique shops in Uptown. My favorites are Declaration Marketplace, West to East and Magnolia Supply.
