Park here and ride south with your mountain bike for about 17 miles to the M-20 trailhead in White Cloud, MI. There is a day fee to park here, so bring cash.

Nichols Lake North Recreation Area has a nice beach and is popular for swimming and fishing. For the Beach, go to the boat launch sign which will lead you directly to the boat launch and park for a short walk to the beach. There is also access to the North Country Trail for hiking and biking.
